She possesses extensive experience in statistical modeling, including linear and logistic regression, hierarchical linear regression, Naïve Bayes classification, principal component analysis, clustering, Markov chains, and ARIMA time series analysis. As a Psychometrician, Dr. Wen specializes in classic item analysis, Item Response Theory (IRT) analysis, Differential Item analysis (DIF), item alignment, norm development, and periodic norm updates. She has a strong track record in project evaluation, offering strategic insights from formulating research questions to selecting appropriate data collection methods and statistical models. Her ability to identify and implement the most effective analytical approach ensures optimal problem-solving and decision-making. Prior to her current role at RAC, Dr. Wen served as a Psychometrician at the Educational Records Bureau (ERB), where she played a key role in psychometric research and assessment development. Dr. Wen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Psychology from Peking University, China. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, with a focus on Educational Statistics & Measurement, from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
